 Pastor Joe Vassak
Pastor & his wife Amy | Pastor Joe Vassak is a native of North Salem, New York, just a few minutes from our church property. He grew up in the Patterson Baptist Church in Patterson, NY, where he was saved and called to preach, and where he preached his first sermon at age 14. He graduated from  Hyles Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana in May of 1990. There he met his wife Amy, and they were married in August of 1992. Together they started Calvary Baptist Church in Brewster in 1994, which later became Northeast Baptist Church in Danbury. Pastor and Mrs. Vassak have three children, Catharine, Joey, and Amanda. |
